And If Not Now, When?

Grid Iron are delighted to be supporting new Edinburgh art collective, And If Not Now, on the presentation of their first project which will run in the National Museum of Scotland during COP26.

And If Not Now, When? is an immersive, reactive, sound and film installation by Edinburgh artists Philip Pinsky and Karen Lamond which invites you to experience a transformed urban reality, inspiring hope and possibility.

The work is a provocation for each of us to respond to the climate emergency by asking if we want to return to where we were before the global pandemic or use what we have learned to create a different, more sustainable reality.

We have the power to transform our cities for the better, to make our streets more equal and accessible for everyone and, most importantly, to address the climate crisis.

Grid Iron audiences will recognise Philip’s work from the MANY shows he worked on with us, including Roam, Decky Does a Bronco and Leaving Planet Earth, to name a few.  We are delighted to be supporting him, and film-maker Karen Lamond, on this new and important enterprise as part of our New Ideas programme.
